Girls Basketball Wins 2021 Sectional Title

Congratulations to the BCHS Varsity Girls Basketball team as they won the 2021 Class 3A Sectional Title with a 65-58 win over Heritage Christian at Heritage Christian. This was the third time this season they met and defeated the Heritage team.

In regional play, they defeated Brownstown Central in the first game, 53-47 but fell short in the Regionals Championship game vs Tri-West, 72-60.

Eli Bustamante advances to Semi-State Wrestling; 7 wrestlers advanced to regionals

Junior Eli Bustamante has qualified for the New Castle 2021 Wrestling Semi-State on Feb. 13, 2021. He has also won City & Sectional titles this season in the 152 pound weight division.

Girls Varsity Basketball is 2021 City Champion!

Congratulations to the BCHS Girls Varsity Basketball Team — 2021 City Champions with a basket at the buzzer for a 62-61 win over Heritage Christian. Junior Izzy Davis made her only basket count as she hit a short foot jump shot at the buzzer. Zakia Rasheed, who had 28 points and 5 assists in the game, had the presence of mind & unselfishness to set Izzy up with a phenomenal assist! Great teamwork!!

They had advanced to this final championship with a win over Cathedral, 57-50. With a record of 12-6 for the season, they are in the top 15 teams in the state!

Girls Swimming/Diving wins City Meet! Boys come in 3rd

Congratulations to the Girls Swimming & Diving team, as they WON the City Championship on Dec.19, 2020! The boys team placed third in the meet, with only 8 boys in attendance. Many individual races were won.

BCHS wins 15th State Championship Title!

Congratulations to the BCHS Trojans, as they became the 2020 3A State Football Champions, with a 42-14 victory over Danville! This is a record breaking 15th state championship title for BCHS!

Semi-State Results

The BCHS Football team became Semi-State Champions, with a 18-13 victory over Mishawaka Marian.

Regional Results

Congratulations to the BCHS Football team as they became Regional Champions, with a 28-18 victory over Ft. Wayne Concordia Lutheran.

The Trojans will meet Mishawaka Marian in the semi-final game on Fri., Nov. 20, at 7:00 p.m. at Mishawaka. Good luck Trojans!

Sectional Results

The Varsity Football team defeated Brebeuf Jesuit for the 2020 Sectional Championship title, 35-3.

Cross Country athletes at Semi-State Competition

Semi-State Results

Emily Loiselle ran a great race and finished 22nd overall at the very competitive Shelbyville 2020 Cross Country Semi-State. Max Bourgeois finished off his impressive freshman season by finishing 58th at the very competitive Shelbyville 2020 Cross Country Semi-State meet. Congratulations on a great year for these Trojan athletes!

Regional Results

Congratulations to Emily Loiselle who advanced individually to Semi-State competition, with a time of 18:55.

Congratulations to freshman Max Bourgeois who advanced individually to Semi-State competition, with a time of 16:21.

The boys team placed 8th at the very competitive Noblesville regional meet.

Sectional Results

The BCHS Boys Cross Country team advanced to the 2020 regional meet by placing 5th at sectionals! Max Bourgeois led the team with a 5th place overall finish!

The BCHS Girls Cross Country team just missed advancing, with a very close 6th place in the sectionals. Individuals advancing were Emily Loiselle, Mayan Stickel, Alex Gantz, Caroline Bell, and Mara Foley.

Congratulations and good luck in the Regionals to be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020!

Boys Soccer Advances to Regionals!

It was a historic night for Bishop Chatard High School as the boys soccer team won their first sectional championship in school history on Oct. 10, 2020, with a 5-1 victory vs Herron H.S.

Freshman Gabe Rivera led the Trojans with two goals and one assists, Mike Nash scored twice, Danny Bardol had one goal and one assist, and Alex Rodriguez had one assist.

They advance to play Guerin Catholic on Sat., Oct. 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Greensburg H.S.

Nadia Brehm heads to Golf Regionals!

Congratulations to Nadia Brehm, who had a 96 in the 2020 Golf Sectionals and advances to Regionals!!! She had 36 putts, hit 11 fairways, had 0 GIR and had 58 in the red zone. Regionals will be held at Edgewood on Sat., Sept. 26 at 9:00 a.m. Good luck in Regionals!

Regional Results:

Nadia Brehm had a 90 at regionals and did GREAT today. She was a few shots away from making in to state. She hit 11 fairways, had only 31 putts, had 4 GIR, and 52 in the red zone. Congratulations Nadia! We’ll see you in state next year!

Lily Cridge sets new XC record

Congratulations to sophomore runner, Lily Cridge, as she set a new BCHS girls cross country record of 13:49 at the Noblesville Hokum Karem on Aug. 28, 2020! She broke the record held by Andrea Kremer in 1999 of 14:25!
