Cross Country runners head to 2018 Semi-State

Congratulations to Ethan Clapacs and Mary Bea Sowinski, who advanced to 2018 IHSAA Cross Country Semi-State competition. They will be running in the semi-state on Saturday, Oct. 20, at Shelbyville, Blue River Park. Competition begins at 10:30 a.m.

Girls Volleyball is 2018 Sectional Champion

2018 Girls Volleyball Sectional Champions

Congratulations to the the Lady Trojans, the new 2018 IHSAA Volleyball Sectional Champions. The team defeated Brebeuf, the 2017 State Runner-up, in the semi-final match in 4 sets, and went on to defeat Guerin Catholic in the Championship match, in 3 sets. We are very proud of you all! The team will next play in the regionals vs Northview on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Danville. Good luck Lady Trojans!

Freshman Girls Volleyball: 2018 City Champions

2018 Freshman Girls Volleyball City Champions

Congratulations to the Freshman Girls Volleyball Team for capping off their season with a City Championship. The girls defeated Cathedral in the semi-finals and Heritage Christian in the Championship match. What a great season!

Cross Country teams head to Regionals

Congratulations to both the boys and the girls cross country teams on their advancing to regionals! Both teams placed 5th in sectionals to advance. Mary Bea Sowinski made the All-Sectional Team. Come support the teams at Regionals on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. Regional competition will be at Noblesville beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Girls Golf places 10th in regionals; Maggie Schaffer heads to state

BCHS Girls Golf Team placed 10th of 18 teams in Regionals on Sept. 22, 2018, with a combined score of 370. Maggie Schaffer was the top golfer at the regionals with a score of even par 71. She advances to the State Competition on Sept. 28 & 29. Congratulations Lady Trojans on a great season! Good Luck Maggie in the State Finals!

Will Kellison is named Male City Athlete of the Year

Will Kellison was recently named the 2018 Male City Athlete of the Year by the Marion County Athletic Association! Will was a three-year starter on the Bishop Chatard football team, playing defensive end and tight end, while the Trojans earned two sectional titles and a state championship. He was named All-City and earned all-state honors for two years as well as being named to the IndyStar Super Team as a senior. He was a significant player on the basketball team as a sophomore, though injuries kept him from playing as a junior and senior. Bishop Chatard’s varsity football program has an impressive legacy that includes 13 Indiana State Championships and many alumni who have had successful careers at the college level and beyond. What Trojan football has not experienced is a home football game. That is about to change. Join the Bishop Chatard community in August 2018 when we will host our first varsity football game in the Bishop Chatard stadium!
