The game was tied 0-0 at half, but a ball from Claudia Riggs slipped through the defenders giving Marcy Boyle a shot on goal to put the Trojans ahead.
Anna Dixon crossed a ball over the heads of the Guerin defenders and found Reese Sochacki with 2 minutes on the clock to give the Trojans the game winning goal.

Trojans struck first on a set piece taken by Grace Adams found Addison Duncan’s head to put the Trojans up in the first half. Mt. Vernon came out strong in the second half a was able to tie the game on an unassisted set piece Trojans battled to hold off Mt. Vernon, but struggled to find the back of the net again

A very well fought sectional opponent match! Grace Adams kicked things off with an unassisted corner kick that found its way inside the back post net. The Trojans would take the lead at half time. The Panthers halftime adjustments made the Trojans push even harder. Into the second half, Reese Sochacki while holding off her defenders was able to turn and find Bri Buels running through, Bri Buels finished in the back of the net. The 2-0 score did not stop the Panthers from pressing. A miscommunication in the back line allowed for a Panther to slip a goal passed with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Ruby Mason had 4 saves on the night!

Lady Trojans snag their first Circle City Conference win with a strong match against Heritage. The Trojans found themselves down a goal at half time after Heritage capitalized on a few mistakes.
The Trojans would fight back when Grace Adams throw finds Reese Sochacki who slides it passed the keeper. With an assist from Ruby Mason’s clearance, Bri Buels takes off and adds another one. Grace Adams would now find Bri Buels on a throw in to make it 3. The Eagles fought back and found another goal with 17 minutes to go. The Trojans would hold them off for the rest of the game. -
Lady trojans win a huge conference game over the Braves. The Trojans got on the board with an assist from Reese to Bri who was able to capitalize. In the second half the Reese and Bri combination would give the Trojans a further lead. Big win for the team! Ruby Mason had 5 saves on the night and a shut out!

8/28/21Plainfield Invite
The Trojans came ready to play in game 1 of the Plainfield Invite vs Lawrence North. Bri Buels had a hat trick on the day! Lydia and Lily also found the back of the net. Assists from Reese Sochacki and Karsym Heim! Shut out for both Ruby Mason and Alison Stevens.
Second game was rescheduled because of heat. The Trojans will play Plainfield on 9/20 Away for the Championship Game

The Lady Trojans offense was ready to play! Bri Buels scored in the first 3 minutes of the game with a cross from Addison Duncan. The offense would capitalize again before half time when Reese Sochacki found Bri Buels again. In the second half the Trojans pulled away when Sochacki fired a shot off a Roncalli player for an own goal against Roncalli. Grace Adams had a goal off a direct free kick. Grace Adams would then give an assist to Chloe Schmitz who chipped the goalie on a diving header. The Royals found a goal off a free kick that was just above Ruby Mason’s hand. Bri found another hat trick off an assist from Reese Sochacki again.
Ruby Mason had 7 saves on the night. Defense was lead by Maggie Ryan. Kate Sedlak, Andie Adams, Karsyn Heim and Morgan Heim. -
The Lady Trojans looked to keep their undefeated season alive against a tough the previous conference champion. The weather was not the best, but the Trojans took the lead when Reese Sochacki played a call over the opposing defense to find Addison Duncan who calmly placed her shot. After a miscommunication in the back line, the Eagle were able to capitalize and tied the game up. Not long after Chloe Schmitz won a ball in the midfield and was able to play Bri Buels who buried a shot from 18 yards out. The 2-1 lead would take them through halftime. As the game was winding down, Bri Buels took advantage of a miss position by the Guerin keeper and fired a shot over her head from 30 yards out. Ruby Mason-2 saves, Alison Steven-4 saves. Back line was lead by Andie, Kate, Maggie, Morgan and Karysn. Trojans stay perfect in the Circle City Conference.

With only one half played because of weather, the Lady Trojans pulled away with a tie. The Lady Trojans battled with the wind giving the Alison 12 saves in the first half.

Lady Trojans played sectional 26 opponent and came through with a victory! Addison Duncan had 2 goals. Bri, Chloe and Reese each added a goal as well. Assists were made by many players including Bri, Lily, Karsyn, Maggie, Chloe, and Reese. Trojans did give up a set piece defensively in the second half.

Bri Buels served up another hat trick! Goals by Lily Gries, and two from Reese Sochacki. Assists from Chloe Schmitz, Addison Duncan and Reese! Shut out by both Ruby Mason and Alison Stevens. -
The Lady Trojans faced 2A #8 undefeated Hamilton Heights and ended with a big victory! Lady Trojans struck 2 in the first half and added 4 more in the second half. Hat trick, her third of the season, Bri Buels. Addison added 2 more goals. Reese finished off by adding another one. Brooklyn had 3 assists and Addison has 2 assists. Chloe added another assist to the board. Ruby Mason had 3 saves and only gave up one goal. Hard fought battle and good team win!

Undefeated Lady Trojans faced 2020 2A State Champions on a hot afternoon. The Lady Trojans struck first when Bri won a ball in the field to put it over the top from 30 yards out. The Trojans would lead 1-0 in the half. 10 minutes into the second half a miscommunication allowed Dwenger to break free of the back line and slip a goal passed Ruby Mason. The Trojans did not let up the gas. Brooklyn took a set piece from 35 yards to connect with Bri who finished to give the Trojans the lead back. Trojans defense worked hard to fight off the Dwenger attack, led by Andie, Kate, Maggie and Karsyn. Ruby Mason had 5 saves

Lady Trojans were excited to get back on the pitch for their first regular season game. They maintained possession in the offensive half, while the defense stopped most of the Mt. Vernon attacks. Trojans found themselves up 1-0 at half time when Chelsea DeVettori was awarded a PK for a foul in the box. Mt. Vernon came out fierce with extra numbers in the attack where they found the back up the net to tie the game. With 10 minutes left Grace Adams won a ball in the middle of the field and was able to connect with Brianna Buels who put the ball in the back of the net.
Great defensive effort by Mary Mastrain, Maggie Ryan, Kate Sedlak and Kyra Oakley. GK Alison Steven noted 10 saves.
Offense was led by sister duo- Chelsea and Brooklyn DeVettori, Avery Kaminski.Freshmen Addison Duncan and Kate Sedlak made their first varsity start.

Lady Trojans came out strong to the 2019 1A State Champ: Park Tudor, but the quick opponent was able to take advantage of a few defensive mistakes. Brianna Buels found the back of the net to give the Trojans their only goal.

Trojans opened up conference play at home against a competitive Heritage team. Trojans got on the board when Chelsea DeVettori was able to find Bri Buels on a well played diagonal ball. The score would remain until after half time. Going into the second half– Bri found the back of the net off a 40 yard break away to slide one just near post passed the keeper. Heritage answered on a direct free kick that soared over Chatard’s keeper Alison Stevens to put them on the board. Chloe found Addison who was able to capitalize for her first varsity goal. Finishing up the score board Bri found the back of the net with a pass from Grace Adams.
Ruby Mason had 4 saves and Allison Stevens had 3 saves
Chelsea, Bri, and Grace (and the entire program) received an IHSAA sportsmanship award for their on field positive play.

Lady Trojans came out to play against the 2A #5 ranked Braves. Trojans fought hard in the first half but found themselves down a goal at half time when a Braves player knocked one in from 30 yards out. The Trojans came out in the second half smarter and eager to get one back. A shot from Grace Adams was deflected by the Braves keeper and the loose ball was put in the back of the net by Chloe Schmitz. The game continued evenly back and fourth until Senior Captain Chelsea Devettori found an opening at the top of the box and put the ball right past the keeper. The Trojans fought hard to hold off an attacking Brave’s team. Great conference win!

8/29/20Plainfield Invite
Lady Trojans came ready to play in their first match of the Plainfield Invite. The Lady Trojans fired 14 shots on goal and were able to capitalize on 4 of them. 2 goals for Bri Buels. 1 a piece for Chelsea DeVettori and Chloe Schmitz. Shut out for goal keepers Ruby Mason and Alison Stevens.
What a nail biter as the Lady Trojans took the hosts of the tournament into over time! Trojans were down a goal at half time, but were able to come out strong and Bri Buels was able to tie things up with a ball from Chelsea DeVettori. Plainfield capitalized on a free kick that slid right passed Ruby Mason. With 5 minutes left in regular time- Chloe found the back of the net with her head on a free kick from Chelsea DeVettori. The Trojans attempted to hold off the pressing Plainfield opponent, but a handball gave the opposing team a free kick, which they would finish to send it into over time. Score stayed tied through the first half of OT, but in the second half a questionable foul gave the opponent another free kick which would find the back of the net just over Ruby Mason’s finger tips.
The Trojans finished second in the invite. -
The Trojans struggled to find success against a packed in Roncalli defense. The Trojans went into the second half scoreless until Bri Buels capitalized on a cross from Chelsea DeVettori. A few minutes later Chelsea DeVettori found the back of the net from 30 yards out on a free kick.

Trojans were able to fill their missing game day, with a 3A ranked opponent.
Despite shots on goal- Brownsburg was able to scoop up a loose ball after Ruby Mason came off her line in a 1v1. The Bulldogs would put in another one before half time. The Trojans held off the talented Bulldog and kept them scoreless in the second half. Trojans struggled to finish the ball into the back of the net. -
The Trojans knew they would have their hands full with a recent transfer back at Guerin for her senior year. The Trojans locked down defense and it seemed to be any team’s game until a hand ball gave GC a free kick just outside the 18 which GC was able to put in the back of the net. Trojans would try and go into the attack more in the second half, but could not contain the speed of GC.
Trojans fall 4-0. -
Lady Trojans came to play with 5 different people scoring. Bri, Addison, Chelsea, Maia, and Chloe x2 all put the Trojans on the score board. Alison Stevens had 5 saves and a clean sheet. Defense was led by Mary, Maggie, Kyra and Kate.

Trojans were on the road against CCC opponent. Trojans dug themselves into a hole when miscommunication gave Covenant the go ahead goal early into the second half. Trojans picked the game back up 6 different players scoring for the Trojans. Chelsea x2 Brooklyn, Grace, Avery, Bri and Chloe. Ruby Mason had a clean sheet in the second half.

The Lady Trojans knew in the first 12 minutes they had a battle on their hands. The Trojans struggled to find their rhythm between numerous fouls. Despite the tempo of the game, the Trojans were able to net 3 goals by Avery, Bri and Addison. The game ended in a draw, but opponent later had to forfeit the result

A slow start to the game had the Trojans worried about how the game would end. Heritage played a wonderful first half, holding the Trojans to 3 shots of goal. 10 minutes into the second half- the Trojans found their groove and knew where they could find success. A corner opportunity allowed Chelsea DeVettori to find the Addison Duncan on the back post. The Trojans went on to capitalize on another set piece after a foul. This time the other DeVerrtori was able to find Addison Duncan up the middle.

Trojans looked to be the stronger team for a majority of the game, but struggled to find the back of the net. The Irish were a goal ahead at half time, but Chelsea DeVettori was able to equalize the game with a free kick after a hand ball call. As history repeats itself- the game went into overtime and the Irish found another gap to finish the game.

Trojans battled hard the entire 80 minutes from a high pressured opponents. The defense was lead by G. Underwood and Holli Parker who were able to connect with C. DeVettori in the middle for most of the game. Avery Kaminski was able to find the back of the net towards the end of the second half with an assist from Brianna Buels. It was an overall great team effort!

Trojans were blanked by Park Tudor this evening. Trojans struggled to find a rhythm in possession and were unable to finish their 15 shots on goal. The Panther’s speed up top caused an issue defensively and the Trojans were unable to maintain the high pressure.

Lady Trojans came out of the gates strong! The Trojans worked hard to possess a majority of the game. Their hard work paid off when C. DeVettori found an opening to put the Trojan’s on the board. Avery Kaminski found a slot towards the goal and A. Underwood’s feet, who finished to the back of the net. Freshman Chloe Schmitz scored her first goal with a rebound from the Heritage GK to give the Trojans a 3-0 lead at half time. The Trojans did not score in the second half but kept the pressure! Shut out by Anna Pruitt, with the help of lock down defense from G. Underwood, Holli Parker, Kyra Oakley, Mary Mastrian and Morgan Heim!

Trojans worked to control the possession of the game against a very talented Brave team. Unfortunately, a minor defensive break down allowed the Braves to slide one past Anna Pruitt. The Trojans offense continued to push until the last second, led by Avery Kaminski, A. Underwood, C. DeVettori, and Brianna Buels. Anna Pruitt marked 17 saves the entire game.

Trojans battled hard to maintain possession of the entire game. Bri was able to get the Trojans on the board in the second half to tie the game. The game went into over time. During overtime Avery pulled the team into the lead with a rocket from 20 yards out. Trojans would work hard to fight off Batesville until the last 3 minutes when an opposing player kicked all the ball from Anna Pruitt’s hands, the ref would allow this goal to count.
Trojan’s struggled with the pressure of PK’s, only Abby Underwood was able to complete hers. Anna Pruitt also had a PK save.

Trojans worked hard to maintain control of the game against a fierce 3A Opponent. Both teams had huge chances in the first half, but would ultimately would lead to a standstill 0-0 at half time and that score would stand a until the last minute of the game. Lady Rocks were able to scoop up a loose ball in the box and capitalize on it in the last 58 seconds. Anna Pruitt came up huge with 13 saves.

Trojans maintained possession of the game. A free kick from Holli Parker into the box that found Brianna Buels would put the Trojans up my one going into the second half. Guerin would retaliate 6 minutes into the second half by capitalizing off a corner kick. Trojans would answer back with the cross from Brianna who found a volley finish from Chloe Schmitz. Guerin would continue to press the Trojans defense, looking to tie the game up, but the Trojans defense led by Grace Underwood and Holli Parker and Anna Pruitt would make things difficult. Just 3 minutes left in the game, Brianna attacked the sideline and found a cross to Abby Underwood would made a fantastic run through the middle to finish it in the back of the net. Anna Pruitt would end the game with 17 saves with only one goal against.

Trojans blanked their opponent with an 8-0 victory. Goal scorers for the Trojans were Bri, C. Devettori, Holli, G. Underwood, A. Underwood, B. DeVettori, Hannah, and Sheridan. Most offensive Trojan players all found a shot on goal during the game. Anna Pruitt had 8 saves and a shut out.

Trojans worked hard and controlled much of the game. Trojans defense only allowed Hamilton to just one shot on goal the entire game and no corner kicks. Trojans offense worked hard for a combined 11 shots on goal, but struggled to put the ball in the back of the net.

Trojans traveled to the edge of the state to compete with Oldenburg Academy. A very physical game and field conditions made it difficult for the Trojans to play their usual possessive game style. B. DeVettori was able to take advantage of an opening off a pass from C. DeVettori to put the Trojans up 1-0 at half time. In the second half the Trojans struggled to slow to play down to take over the game. Halfway through the second half the Trojans opened up their scoring. With a pass from C. DeVettori, Bri Buels rocketed a great shot from the corner kick area to put in the back of the net. The next goal came from Rachel Kelsey who was able to flick a header with a set piece from C. DeVettori. The final goal came from Kyra Oakley who rifled a shot from just behind the half line that would sail over the opponents goalie’s hands. Anna Pruitt at 8 saves on the board with a shut out. The Trojans defense worked hard with the difficult field conditions led by G. Underwood, Holli Parker, Maggie Ryan, Mary Mastrain, and Kyra Oakley.

What a great senior night! All of the Trojan 2019 Seniors started and ended the game on the field! Grace Adams got the Trojans on the score board after Bri Buels beat 3 defenders on the outside and found her with a beautiful cross. The Trojans would continue to be successful off the long crosses when Grace Adams then found Chloe Schmitz off a cross. Trojans went into half time leading 2-0. The Trojans would get one more on the board when C. DeVettori found Bri’s feet on an inside run, allowing Bri to rifle one past the opponents GK.

Trojans had to work hard the entire time to finish out with victory. Despite the Trojans attack, Heritage worked hard to spoil all of the Trojans attempts in the first half. Keeping the score 0-0. In the second half the Trojans changed tactics and were able to get the ball moving in their favor. Holli Parker took a corner that found the back post where Brianna Buels was waiting to put it in the back of the net. Bri would score one more time off a short clear in the defensive half to get one past the GK. Trojans win 2-0

Trojans worked hard to battle a very talented Irish squad. Although the Trojans found shots, nothing seemed to capitalize. The game would go into overtime scoreless. 30 seconds into the start of OT, the Irish were able to scoop up a miss hit ball in the box and finish. The Trojans continued to battled hard through both periods of the first half, hitting the post on a few shots. Despite the effort the 0-1 score would stick.

Trojans fell to the number one 2A state ranked Braves. Trojans scored first with a cross from Grace Adams to Hayden Parker who was able to capitalize. The Trojans would hold off the Braves until after half time. The Braves tied up the game with an undefended shot from 25 yards out. Braves would find the back of the net on a throw in assist two more times to win the game.

Trojans played with intensity the entire game! Great possession and continued to work to find the back of the net. Sheridan Gutzwiller and Jackie Beckman were able to capitalize on their hard work, rewarding them each with a goal! Julia Horlander had a shut out!

Lydia scored off a rocket from the left outside about 20 yards out. Captain, Marsha took a PK from a foul in the box and was able to capitalize on it.

Scrimmage result was tied 2-2 with goals from Jacobson and Guess. Trojans controlled the ball most of the game but incomplete passes in the back resulted in goals for the opponent. Trojans won 5-4 in a PK shootout at the end. Surinak made a huge stop, while DeVettori, A. Underwood, G. Underwood, Kaminski, and Jacobson all netted their shots.

The team lacked energy in the first half resulting in a 3-0 deficit at half time. Just 6 minutes into the second half Grace Adams found the back of the net with a cross from Claire Hurley. 2 minutes after the first goal, Liz Jacobson took at advantage of a loose ball to make it 3-2. The Trojans kept the pressure tallying 17 shots and taking over 13 free kicks. Goalkeeper Izzy stopped 2 shots on goal. Trojans took a loss 3-2.

Trojans came out with energy for their first home opener of the season. Just 4 minutes into the game Guess found A. Underwood on a cross to get things rolling. Park Tudor answered with a goal after a defensive breakdown. C. DeVettori finished a PK after hand ball in the box by Park Tudor. Into the second half, A. Underwood fired a shot, and Kaminski was there for the rebound and finished it. Adams found the back of the net for the second time in a row. Park Tudor found the back of the net off a misguided corner kick. Parker snatched up a loose ball from 35 yrds out with a goal. A corner kick by Parker resulted in an own goal from Park Tudor.

Trojan defense came ready to play! Izzy saved Heritage’s only 2 shots on goal with help from Hurley, Klineman, Parker, and G. Underwood in the back. Trojans attacked the goal with 17 shots on goal. The Trojan defense struggled to contain the Brave’s top notch offense. The Trojans found space to get shots off, but could not capitalize. C. DeVettori got on the board with a direct free kick. Jacobson broke though the midfield and scored from 30 yards out.

The Trojans battled tough competition and hot temperatures for a 2-0 victory. The defensive line (Hurley, Parker, G. Underwood, and Klineman) did a fantastic job of possessing the ball and creating an offensive attack from the back. C. DeVettori and Jacobson worked in unison the entire game. C. DeVettori assisted both of Jacobson’s goals from 20 yards out.

The entire team came out ready to play! GK Anna Pruitt made her first ever varsity start with a shut out and 2 saves. Defense was lead by G. Underwood, Klineman, Parker, and Hurley who communicated and made it difficult for the opponents to get a break through. Trojan offense was lead by Guess who broke through the defense 2 times to net a goal each time. The offense continued to combine a they found Adam’s from 20 yards out who finished another shot.

A late start caused the Trojans to be outscored 2-1 at half time. Goal was by C. DeVettori. The Trojans continued to work from behind 3-1 until Adams found a rebound off the post. Trojans continued to work with a finish by Jacobson with 10 to go. Sheridan capitalized on a GK mistake to make it 4-3 with 4 to go. Her varsity goal.

Trojans battled through injuries on the field for a well fought victory. Every player contibuted minutes for an all around team effort! Guess got things started by scooping up a free kick from Parker. The defensive line continued to push through the heat and changing of positions to hold off Oldenburg. Jacobson found the back of the net off a corner kick with a ball from C. Devo. Oldenburg countered with 8 minutes left, but the score would stay 2-1.

Underwood. Trojans would attack again with a string of passes in the midfield when Jacobson found C. Devo for a long shot from 20 yards out!

Trojans talent ran deep today with all players getting in minutes! G. Underwood found the net twice. Chapman, Adams, A. Underwood, Jacobson, Jaeger, and Klineman all netting one goal each. Anna Pruitt found some field action half her first half shut out to have the most shots of goal. Jacobson found her versatility with her first career shut out in goal in the second half.

Trojans battled the entire evening with cross town rival Cathedral in the City Finanls. After regular play the game was tied 1-1 with a 30 yard hit from Holli Parker. The tie would stand through OT. Trojans and Irish stayed tied through the first round of 5 kickers, thanks to huge saves from Pruitt! In the end the Irish were able to capitalize on a final PK to win the game. Great effort from the entire team!

Trojans battled for 80 minutes, but fell short. Trojans loan goal was scored by Guess with a left footed strike. GK Pruitt came up with 4 huge stops on breakaways! Defense was lead by Parker, G. Underwood, Klineman, and Hurley who fought to hold off the Irish. Jacobson, C. DeVettori, and A. Underwood pressed the attack from the middle of the field.

With a slow start to the game and some defensive errors, the game resulted in a 4-2 loss. In the second half the Trojans gained momentum by connecting passes to allow Chapman and Gutzwiller found the back of the net.
