Boys Golf heads to 2019 Regionals

June 6, 2019
Congratulations to the Boys 2019 Golf Team, as they placed 3rd in Sectionals with 351 and advance to Regional competition. Matthew Semler recorded the low score for BC with an 81 followed by Ben Annakin (88), Ben Schrage (90), John Schaffer (92) and Clay Fox (96). Regionals will be held on June 6, 2019 at The Players Club.

Congratulations to the following track members that advanced to the State Finals at IU:

Curtis Rickardson (100m dash), Beth Barnes (100H, 300H, 4 x 4), Mary Bea Sowinski (300H, 4 x 4), Katie Dietrick (4 x 4), and Mayan Stickel (high jump, 4 x 4). Beth Barnes was regional champion in the 300H, and the 4 x 4 relay was regional runner-up.

Rugby Teams win 2019 State Competition

May 30, 2019
Congratulations to the Royal Irish Varsity Rugby Team, who won the Rugby Indiana 2019 Spring State Championship on May 29 with a 20-12 victory over Penn High School. The JV team also won their state final game, with a 31-14 win over Penn H.S.

Swimmers are named Academic All-Americans

Congratulations to the following Trojans who were selected by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America (NISCA) as 2018/2019 Academic All-Americans. These boys worked really hard in the pool and in the classroom and are the great examples of student athletes!

Girls Track Team wins 2019 City Championship

May 9, 2019

Congratulations to the girls track team as they won their 8th consecutive City Track Title on May 6, 2019. Event winners included Amelia Dessauer (Pole Vault), Miranda Stickel (1600 Relay), Mary Bea Sowinski (1600 Relay), Katie Dietrick (400 & 1600 Relay), & Beth Barnes(100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles & 1600 Relay)!

The boys team placed 4th in the city meet, with Adam Pemberton as city champion in the Shot Put. In addition, Rylan Elliot (Shot Put) and Thomas Joven (400) were city runner-ups.

Hockey Team Wins State Championship

March 14, 2019
Congratulations to Sam McCarthy-Young and the Central Indiana Knights for winning the 2018/2019 3A IHSAA State Hockey Championship! The Knights won the championship in a thrilling 4-2 victory over Evansville. Sam is the only BCHS Trojan on the team this year.

Oskar Eisgruber advanced to Diving State Finals

Congratulations to senior Oskar Eisgruber, who qualified for the 2019 State Diving Tournament on Saturday, February 23.

Oskar is the school diving record holder, 2-time City and 3-time Conference Champion as well as the first diving state qualifier in school history!!

Zach Evans heads to 2019 Wrestling Semi-State
