Show your Trojan Pride all season long with a YARD SIGN! Orders are now being taken for yard signs for 2026 BCHS spring sport athletes: $25 (one-sided) or $35 (2-sided, both sides the same). This is an optional sign for personal yards.

Future Trojan athletes! Bishop Chatard is offering strength training for 7th and 8th grade North Deanery students every Monday and Wednesday from 4:45–5:30 pm during the spring semester 2026.

In 2026 State competition, Katie Countryman advanced through prelims, to swim in the state finals. There, she finished 13th in the 50 free and 18th in the 100 free, breaking another BCHS record along the way and posting a new USA Swimming Futures time cut. Congratulations, Katie, on a solid end to your swimming career at BCHS!

The Girls Swimming and Diving team finished 5th out of 12 teams in the Lawrence North Sectional. HUGE consolation final points were scored by Reed, Loiselle, Chesebrough, Otte, Piatt, Fleming and Dilts in their individual events. Great team effort!

Congrats to these swimmers on their Sectional Championship Final podium finishes:

• 200 Medley Relay of Piatt, Loiselle, Fleming and Reed: 7th place
• 200 Free Relay of Bonhomme, Chesebrough, Fleming and Countryman: 3rd place
• 400 Free Relay of Bonhomme, Chesebrough, Dilts and Countryman: 3rd place
• Remy Bonhomme finished 4th in the 200 Individual Medley and 5th in the 100 butterfly as a freshman!
• Katie Countryman is your Sectional Champion and State Qualifier in both the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle events, setting a new BCHS record and 2 Lawrence North pool records in the process.

Come and cheer on Katie at the IHSAA State Meet on Friday, Feb 13, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the IU Natatorium downtown. Top 16 will advance to the finals on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Congratulations to the 2025 BCHS Football team on receiving the 2025-2026 NFF National High School Academic Excellence Award in Class 4A for Indiana. Presented by the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, this award is awarded to the top academic football team from each level of play within each state and is designed to inspire and foster a culture of academic excellence in high school football teams throughout the nation.

The award is based on a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; academic application and performance; and a successful football season. Indiana high school coaches association selected the state’s winners from a pool of nominees submitted by each school’s head coaches.

An information meeting for parents/guardians about Freshmen football at BCHS will be held on March 10, at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.
