      The boys kicked off the indoor season with good performances from Sam Fu, Ethan Clapacs and Charlie Jacoba

      HSR Qualifier (Indoor)

      The boys track team competed in its last qualifying meet before the indoor track state finals, and had several solid contributions. Owen Teed, Will Johnson, Ethan Clapacs, Charlie Jacoba were meet champions in the 4 x 800 relay. Other medalists included: Owen Teed, Will Johnson, Ethan Clapacs, Charlie Jacoba (4 x 800 relay); Rylan Elliot: 7th place (shot put); Owen Teed, Will Johnson, Ethan Clapacs, Charlie Jacoba: 7th place (DMR); and Jack McGillicuddy: 8th place (high jump).

      The boys track team had a solid outing at their last indoor qualifying meet before the indoor state meet. Owen Teed, Will Johnson, Ethan Clapacs, Charlie Jacoba were meet champions in the 4 x 800 meter relay. Other medalists included the following athletes: Sam Fu, Thomas Joven, Nate Joven, Ethan Clapacs: 3rd place (4 x 400 relay), Rylan Elliot: 7th place (shot put), Owen Teed, Will Johnson, Ethan Clapacs, Charlie Jacoba: 7th place (DMR), and Jack McGillicuddy: 8th place (high jump).

      Place 21st

      The boys team placed 21st of 32 teams at the indoor track state finals (small school division). Medalists were Owen Teed, Ethan Clapacs, Will Johnson, and Charlie Jacoba in the 4 x 800 meter relay.

      The boys track team placed 3rd in the annual Archdiocesan meet. Events champions included Adam Pemberton (shot put), Thomas Joven (400), Ethan Clapacs (800), and Oskar Eisgruber (pole vault). Additionally, Curtis Richardson put in a strong performance with runner-up finishes in the 100 and 200.

      The boys team placed 8th at the Park Tudor Small School Showcase meet in very windy conditions.

      Thomas Joven was the lone male BCHS sprinter competing at the meet, and had a strong 400 meter race, posting a time of 52.72.

      The boys team placed 4th at the Circle City Conference Championship Meet. Curtis Richardson placed 1st in the 100 and 200 meters. Meet runner-ups were the 4 x 100 meter relay (Curtis Richardson, Cash Churchward, Sam Fu, Kahlen Roney) and Thomas Joven (400 meters).

      The boys team placed 4th at the city championship meet. Adam Pemberton was city champion in the shot put. In addition, Rylan Elliot (shot put) and Thomas Joven (400) were city runner-ups.

      The boys freshman team placed 3rd at the freshman city meet. Connor Moriarty was city champion in the 1600 and 800 meters; the 4 x 400 relay placed 1st as well.

      Regionals qualifiers: Ethan Clapacs (1600), Adam Pemberton (shot put), Curtis Richardson (100), and Kahlen Roney, Sam Fu, Cash Churchward, and Curtis Richardson in the 4 x 100 relay.

      The Trojans had a good start to the outdoor season. The 4 x 400 relay of Beth Barnes, Amelia Dessauer, Mary Bea Sowinski, and Miranda Stickel were meet champions. Additionally, Beth Barnes was runner-up in the 60 meter hurdles.

Beth Barnes (60 hurdles) and Katie Dietrick, Miranda Stickel, Mary Bea Sowinski, and Abby Underwood (4 x 400 relay) were meet runner-ups in their respective events. Other medalists included the following athletes: Mayan Stickel: 3rd place (high jump), Miranda Stickel, Mary Bea Sowinski, Abby Underwood, Elaine Nickerson: 4th place (4 x 800 relay), Moira McGinley: 5th place (long jump), Alex Gantz, Mayan Stickel, Maria Christoff, Lily Johnson: 5th place (DMR), as well as Beth Barnes, Mary Bea Sowinksi, Amelia Dessauer, and Rebekkah Guess: 7th place (4 x 200 relay).

In addition, Mary Bea Sowinski, Amelia Dessauer, Katie Dietrick, and Beth Barnes were meet runner-up in the 4 x 200 meter relay. Other medalists were Moira McGinley (long jump) and Mayan Stickel (high jump).

      The girls showed their depth by wining all three relays and winning the following events: Mayan Stickel (High Jump and 400), Amelia Dessauer (Pole Vault), Alex Gantz (800 meters) and Beth Barnes (100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and 200 meters). They also had personal best performances by Fiona Hostettler and Emma Stapleton

Events champions included Mary Bea Sowinski, Fiona Hostettler, Miranda Stickel, and Alex Gantz (4x 800 relay), Mayan Stickel (high jump), and Beth Barnes (100H & 300H). Additionally, Amelia Dessauer put in a strong performance with 3 runner-up finishes (200, 400, PV).

Meet runner-ups included Holli Parker (high jump), the 4 x 800 relay (Katie Dietrick, Miranda Stickel, Mary Bea Sowinski, Alex Gantz), Mayan Stickel (400), and the 4 x 100 meter relay (Beth Barnes, Sydney Hamilton-Ragsdale, Rebekkah Guess, and Amelia Dessauer).

      The freshman girls placed 2nd at the freshman city meet. Individual city champions included Emma Stapleton (100, long jump), Jackie Figura (200), Arianna Chavis (shot put, discus), and the 4 x 100 relay.

      Sectional champions included Alex Gantz (800), Mayan Stickel (high jump) and the 4 x 400 relay of Mary Bea Sowinski, Mayan Stickel, Beth Barnes, and Katie Dietrick (4 x 400). Additional regional event qualifiers were Deirdre Hostettler (pole vault), Miranda Stickel (800), Beth Barnes (100H, 300H), Amelia Dessauer (400), Sydney Hamilton-Ragsdale (400), Fiona Hostettler, Elaine Nickerson, Jaeden Crawford, & Maria Christoff (4 x 800), Mary Bea Sowinski (300H), Moira McGinley (long jump), and Holli Parker (high jump).

      The Lady Trojans advanced several athletes to the state finals in windy and chilly conditions at Ben Davis. The following athletes qualified for the state finals at Indiana University: Beth Barnes (100H, 300H, 4 x 4), Mary Bea Sowinski (300H, 4 x 4), Katie Dietrick (4 x 4), and Mayan Stickel (high jump, 4 x 4). Beth Barnes was regional champion in the 300H, and the 4 x 4 relay was regional runner-up.
