Our Lady Trojans started off their 2021-22 campaign with a road win at Crispus Attucks. A strong first quarter and final period was the difference in the game. Chatard scoring was as follows: Izzy Davis led the Trojans with 21 points. Caroline Bell had 18 points. Lilli Mohler had 7 pts. Kate Caskey had 6 points. Grace Adams had 5 points and a strong game on the point. Carly deCastro had 4 points, Anna McGinley had 2 points, and Grace Felts closed out the scoring with a FT.

The Lady Trojans hosted Martinsville on Saturday Nov 20th for an afternoon contest. The game started out tight in the first quarter finishing at an 8-8 tie. In Q2 the Trojans had a big run outscoring Martinsville 21-7 in the period to take a 29-15 lead into halftime. The second half had both teams playing hard with Martinsville eventually closing the game to within 4 points with 4 minutes to go. The Trojans made a nice run at that point to close out the game eventually realizing the final score of 56-45.
The Trojans were led in scoring by Kate Caskey with 18 including three 3 pointers. Caroline Bell had a double double of 12 points and 12 boards. Carly deCastro and Grace Adams had 6 points each. Lilli Mohler had 4 points. Izzy Davis and Anna McGinley both had 3 pointers. Anna Thompson and Grace Felts closed out the scoring with 2 points each. -

Our JV team started out their 2021-22 season with a strong road win against Crispus Attucks. The Trojans won every quarter of the game finishing out with a 43-14 differential. The Trojans had balanced scoring as follows: Addison Duncan had 12 pts, Andie Adams had 9 pts, Mary Mason had 7 pts, Sydney Shaw had 4 pts, McKenzie Mason had 3 pts, Quinn Lewis, Amyra Locket, Anna Caskey, and Jenna Garing had 2 points each.

Our JV team lost a hard fought contest against Martinsville in 2 Overtimes. Our girls were up through three quarters, but Martinsville made a strong run at the end of the game to finish regulation at 34-34. In the first OT both teams scored a bucket. In the 2nd OT Martinsville hit 6 FT’s to seal the victory. Our Trojans were led in scoring by Freshman Anna Caskey with 13 points, Sydney Shaw had 11 points. Andie Adams had 5 points. Anna Jennings had 4 points. Jenna Garing and Quinn Lewis had 3 points each. Eva Dessauer closed out the scoring with a FT.

JV City Champs!! Great team victory! Hard fought game that saw our defense lead the way holding the Irish to only 34 points. Scoring honors goes to Sydney Shaw who poured in game high 14 points. Sydney was supported in scoring by Anna Caskey with 10 points and Addison Duncan adding 9 points. Mary Mason had a solid game scoring 4 points but pulling down several rebounds and locking down Irish players on defense.

The Freshman team start their season with a 39-34 victory over Pike. The young Trojans were paced in scoring by Annie McAllister (12), Eileen Forsee (9), Anni Felts (7), Anna Dixon (4) and Cate Roberson (4). Jaice Hoosier provided a welcome spark off the bench with great defense and rebounding.

The young Trojans opened up their regular season at home with a thrilling 25-24 win over Mooresville. The Trojans had a balanced offensive showing with eight players scoring, including Anni Felts, Maggie Van Vliet, Zo Kidwell, and Luanne Gilliam. Katie Figura provided a scoring punch off the bench with five points, and Jaice Hoosier swooped in to swat away three shots. The Trojans were down 4 with 1:04 remaining, but ended the game on a 5-0 run to complete the come from behind victory. The margin of victory was supplied by a Annie McAllister ‘3’ from the right corner off of a thread the needle pass from Eileen Forsee with 3 seconds left.

The young Trojans continued their winning ways with an overtime 24-17 OT win over Mt. Vernon. The game was a nail biter the whole way through as neither team could take control of the Monday night contest. Finally, in OT, the cardiac Trojans went on a 7-0 run to secure the victory, led by Annie McAllister’s six points in the extra session. Chatard was supported on the boards by Jaice Hoosier (6) and Zo Kidwell (4).

The young Trojans’ win streak was snapped at 3 on Monday night by HSE by a score of 38-17. The older, bigger HSE team proved to be a tough opponent for the Trojans. Luanne Gilliam played well for the visiting team, and had a career high in points (7). Katie Figura provided a spark off the bench with tough defense and too many dives on loose balls for the official scorer to count.

The young Trojans lost a tough one to a more experienced Franklin team on Thursday night, 38-29. Chatard and Franklin were tied at half 18-18, and the Trojans were within 3 heading into the 4th quarter. Franklin was able to secure the game with a 12-0 run early in the 4th. The Trojans didn’t quit – finishing the game on a 6-0 run which resulted in the final score. The young Trojans were paced by Annie McAllister in scoring (11), and Anni Felts and Zo Kidwell anchored the defensive efforts. Eileen Forsee returned from injury with a Willis Reedesque performance to be the second leading scorer and leading assist disher.

The Trojans were led in scoring by Luanne Gilliam (12), Anne McAllister (11), Anni Felts (4), Zoey Kidwell (4) and Eileen Forsee. Jaice Hoosier did a great job on the boards during her first start of the season. Maggie Van Vliet and Cate Roberson provided a spark off the bench. The game was close for three quarters until the team went on a 16-5 run to close the fourth quarter and secure the victory.

The Trojans led by 2 at halftime, but outscored Harrison in the second half 24-17 to pull away with the win.

The Trojans were able to get back to their winning ways with a thrilling 26-25 win over Brebeuf. The teams each took turns leading the contest, until the final seconds as the young Trojans secured the ball on the final possession. The Trojans were led in scoring by Anne McAllister (10), Anna Dixon (6), Eileen Forsee (4), Anni Felts (3) and Zoey Kidwell (3). Katie Figura provided a big spark off the bench with 3 steals, 2 assists and numerous saves of loose balls, including one which took her into the stands.

The Lady Trojan’s 4th quarter comeback fell just a little short as they lost to Martinsville 53-58. Moria McGinley led the charge with 23 points and 7 steals. Kia Rasheed chipped in 19 points. Erika Pemberton grabbed 6 rebounds as well.

The Lady Trojans dropped a close one to Cathedral. Anna Wuensch recorded her 3rd double – double of the season! The team is back in action on Tuesday, at home, against Greenfield Central.

The Lady Trojans turned in their most complete game of the season. Zaria Rasheed let the Trojans with 20 points and 7 steals. Anna Wuensch turned in her 4th double- double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Huge game from Anna Pruitt who had 15 points and a tremendous defensive effort. Grace McGinley added a big spark off the bench by hitting 2 consecutive three pointers! Her sister, Moria had 7 points and 6 rebounds.

The LadyTrojans picked up a big road win at Fishers. Kia Rasheed led all scores wth 17 points and also had 8 rebounds! Moria McGinley had 15 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. The Lady Trojans got a huge defensive effort out of Anna Pruitt to go along with 5 points! Great contributions from Grace McGinley (2- 3 pointers), Erika Pemberton, both defensively and offensively and Grace Adams!

The Lady Trojans were defeated by Heritage Christian by a score of 45-52. It was a close contest throughout, but HC was able to pull away in the 4th quarter. Kia Rasheed led the Trojans in scoring with 17 points. The girls are next in action on December 12th at home vs Hamilton Heights.

The Lady Trojans controlled this one from start to finish, winning by a score of 72-39. Kia Rasheed let the Trojans in scoring with 18 points and also had 5 steals. Mo McGinley had 16 points, connecting on 3- 3 pointers. Anna Pruitt had 7 points and a team high 6 deflections, all of which led to a Trojan steal. The Lady Trojans grabbed season high 39 rebounds as they defeated the Southport Cardinals by a score of 56-41. Anna Pruitt led the Trojans in scoring wth 16 points. Kia Rasheed chipped in 15 points. Mo McGinley had a team high 11 rebounds! Grace Adams sparked a big second quarter scoring 7 points, dishing out 3 assists and also had 3 steals. The Lady Trojans stand at 7-4.

Kia Rasheed led all scores with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Great defensive effort by Anna Pruitt and Grace Adams. Trojans advance to the championship at 6:30.
The Lady Trojans won an exciting game by a score of 50-48. Chatard trailed by as many as 11 in the first half before charging back. The second half saw the lead change hands several times before Kia Rasheed hit a cutting Grace Adams for the game winner. Kia led the Trojans in scoring with 19 points and Erika Pemperton had a double – double recording 10 points and 11 rebounds. Congrats on the tournament championship Lady Trojans!

Sarah Meek had a great game off of the bench with 8 points and 3 assists.

Katie Grote came off the bench with a strong defensive performance and chipped in 6 points. The Jv squad is 17-4 going into their last regular season game before their tournament.

In the first game of the 2017-18 season, the Lady Trojans came out firing to seek revenge on Crispus Attucks, who ended the Trojans season last year in sectionals. In her first varsity game, Moira McGinley scored the Trojans first eight points of the game. She would end up leading all scores with 24 points including going 5-7 from the three point line. Senior Greta Horton continued the hot streak from behind the arch shooting 3-5, in her first varsity start. Senior point guard Bridget Nash played a solid overall game including 14 points. Sophomore DeeDee Caskey had 10 points coming off the bench for the Trojans.

The Freshmen Lady Trojans got their season off to a strong start with a convincing win over Riverside HS 31-17. The Trojans were led in scoring by Julia Knight with 10 pts., followed by Elaine Nickerson with 7 pts. Lucy Schulte and Abby Murray also contributed 4 pts. each in the win.

The Freshmen Lady Trojans fell to a physical Fishers team 36-15 in their second contest of the season. Elaine Nickerson led the way with 6 pts. and Holly Horton added 4 pts.

A good win for the Lady Trojans as they got out to a strong start and never looked back. The Trojans had 3 players in double figures led by Julia Knight with 13 pts. Holly Horton and Elaine Nickerson both chipped in for 11 pts. Abby Murray was dominant on the glass with 8 rebounds. Mais Schuster had 3 assists & 2 steals while Paige Priami accounted for 2 assists & 3 steals.

The Freshman Lady Trojans made a furious comeback in the second half against North Central, trying to erase a 22 pt. halftime deficit. A stifling second half defense by the Trojans held the Panthers to only 3 pts. in the second half, before falling short 29-21. The Trojans were led by Holly Horton with 10 pts., all of which came in the second half. Elaine Nickerson chipped in 5 pts., while Maia Schuster added 4 pts.

After a slow start, the Lady Trojans got things rolling and finished with an impressive win over Avon 32-13. Elaine Nickerson led the scoring for the Trojans with a game high 14 points & 9 rebounds. Holly Horton chipped in 6 points while Julia Knight and Gabby Croddy added 4 points each. Solid contributions for all players accounted for a nice team win for BCHS.

Paige Priami chipped in 6 points including 4 clutch free throws in the final few minutes, to go along with her stifling defense in the 4th quarter.

After letting their halftime lead evaporate, the Lady Trojans held on for a 32-28 victory on the road against Franklin Central. The Trojans had a season high 12 steals in this game. BCHS was led in scoring by Holly Horton with 12 points and Elaine Nickerson with 9 points.

The Lady Trojans won their first game in the City Invitational over Manual 38-24, behind strong showings from both Elaine Nickerson and Julia Knight. Nickerson finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 steals, while Knight poured in 12 points and 6 rebounds.

In a complete team effort, the Lady Trojans won the City Invitational Tournament with 51-20 win over Scecina. Elaine Nickerson paced the Trojans in scoring with 14 points. Abby Murray poured in a season high 10 points and added 7 rebounds in an outstanding effort. Maia Schuster also poured in a season high 9 points to go along with a superb defensive performance. Holly Horton had another solid outing with 9 points. and 7 rebounds, while Julia Knight chipped in 5 points. Great all around game by the Trojans as they capped off their season in style! Well done ladies!!!
