Bishop Chatard Strength and Conditioning Program
The Bishop Chatard Strength and Conditioning Program focuses on developing the 5 bio-motor abilities that are fundamental to athletic performance; strength, speed, endurance, coordination, and flexibility. The relationships between strength, speed, endurance, coordination, and flexibility create the physical qualities necessary to excel in athletics.
Sport specific programs are developed and utilized in the weight room to enhance the dominant abilities required in each sport. By employing strength training, Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, agility training, ballistics training, conditioning, and flexibility techniques we equip our players to meet the demands of their sport, prevent injury, and reach optimal performance.
Sports team training sessions and alumni hours can be found on the weight room calendar on the athletics website under training facilities.
