Boys Soccer Alumni Game: Aug 26

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 26, 2023, for boys soccer Alumni Game. That night the boys soccer program hosts Scecina for a regular match. At halftime of the varsity match, we will hold our alumni match on the field.

The schedule is:

  • JV Blue team vs Scecina 6 p.m.
  • Varsity team vs Scecina 7:30 p.m.
  • Alumni Match- halftime of the varsity game.

Any player who represented the boys soccer team is welcome to attend for a fun night of soccer.

Boys Soccer Season Events – Don’t miss these!

Join the 2023 Boys Soccer Team on these game nights!

August 10 – 6 p.m. Scrimmage vs Pendleton Heights AND Sogility Night.
What is Sogility? Technology Driven Soccer Training. They will have a mobile unit on site. View a Video about Sogility

August 17 6 p.m.: Game vs Providence Cristo Rey

August 26 7:30 p.m.: Game vs Scecina AND Alumni Night.
Former Chatard players- dust off those old cleats and kick the ball around with your former teammates. You will play at halftime of the varsity game.

September 5 7:30 p.m.: Game vs University AND CYO Night
Any elementary or middle school soccer player that wears their soccer jersey, can get in free, be ball boys for the night, and play at halftime of the varsity match.

September 7 7:30 p.m.: Game vs Bethesda Christian

September 9 2:30 p.m: Game vs Roncalli AND Charity Day
Donate gently used soccer equipment that will go to a good cause.

September 16 1:30 p.m.: Game vs Cascade AND Senior Day
Come out and support this year’s seniors!

Boys Jr Trojan Basketball League: Tryouts are Aug. 12

August 3, 2023

Registration for tryouts for Jr Trojan Boys Basketball is now open. Players in the program will participate in the Fall 3 Stripes Basketball League. Games will be played at the Pacers Athletic Center and Mojo Up Athletic Center. There will be two teams (7th & 8th grade) for the fall league that runs from September 10 – October 1, 2023.

The program is for any incoming 7th or 8th grader boys interested in attending Bishop Chatard High School. Cost is TBA.

Tryouts will identify future Trojan basketball players and will be held on August 12, 2023, from 2 – 4:00 p.m. at Bishop Chatard High School.

Cheerleading Camp Registration

NCA Cheer will be conducting the 2023 summer BCHS Cheer camp at BCHS on July 17 and 18, 2023. Cost is $182 and due by June 29. Use our payment form below to pay online.

Boys Golf is 2023 Sectional Champion

June 6, 2023

Congratulations to the Boys Golf team, as they won the 2023 Sectional at Maple Creek Golf Course on June 2. The team shot 316, in a sectional with Cathedral, Heritage Christian, Park Tudor, North Central, International, Lawrence North & Central, Scecina, Warren Central and Arsenal Tech.

This is the 1st Sectional boys golf championship in school history. William Pruitt was Sectional medalist with a 74 and Nick Belby was All-Sectional with 76 for 2nd place finish. Other team scores were Colin Kirchgessner (82), Charlie Belch (84) and Jack Feeney (90).

Come cheer on the Trojans in Regional play at The Players Club on Thurs, June 8, 2023, beginning at 8 a.m.

Baseball is 2023 Regional Champion!

June 5, 2023

The BCHS Baseball team won the Class 3A Regional title with a 7-2 win over Beech Grove on June 3. The team won with a great team effort! Jack Murray and Danny Sitzman combined on the mound to limit Beech Grove to 2 runs and 6 hits. Murray picked up the win and Sitzman the save. The offense was led by William Dietrick with 3 hits, Ryan Keating with 2 hits, and Aiden Duncan with 2 hits and 3 RBI.

Come cheer on the Trojans as they meet Tri-West Hendricks in semi-state play, at Southridge on Sat., June 10, 2023.

Sectional Championship Recap

BCHS Baseball won the 2023 Sectional Championship with a 12-1 victory over Hamilton Heights. Charlie Rushenberg, Jack Murray, and Conor O’Brien combined on the mound to hold the Huskies to 3 hits and 1 run. The offense was led by Joe Ashley with 2 hits, and 1 hit each by Ryan Keating, Chris Klug, Jack Murray, Declan Hostettler, and JP Polackin.

To advance to the sectional championship game, they defeated top-ranked Guerin Catholic, 4-2. Jack Murray, Danny Sitzman, and Will Borowski all pitched well for the Trojans. The offense was led by Ryan Keating with 3 hits, and William Dietrick and Joe Ashley with 2 hits each.
