The Trojans placed 3rd at the prestigious All-Catholic Championship meet at Guerin High School. JD Haines (3rd), Quinn Hostettler (13th), Phoenix Boyer (14th), and Eli Hummel (17th) all finished in the top 20 overall!

Lily Cridge won the IHSAA state meet in an excellent time of 17:32 in very wet and soggy conditions on the LaVern Gibson cross country course in Terre Haute, Indiana! She is Bishop Chatard’s first cross country state champion, and we are so proud of all of her very hard work and determination that helped her to reach this truly awesome achievement!

The Trojans opened their season with a 4th place finish in a strong field at the Circle City Championship Meet hosted by Brebeuf High School. Max Bourgeois finished with All-Conference honors (10th) to lead the Trojans!

Charlie Jacoba, Will Johnson, Connor Brandon, Connor Moriarty, and Liam Murphy also contributed to the team’s successful advancement to the next round of the state tournament.

The Trojans placed 9th in a very competitive regional meet; junior Owen Teed advanced to semi-state as an individual with the personal best time of 16:15. His teammates Charlie Jacoba (16:37) and Ethan Clapacs (16:49) also impressively broke the 17 minute mark.

Junior Owen Teed closed out his very successful season by placing 63rd overall in a very rainy and very competitive semi-state competition in Shelbyville. Congrats, Owen!

The Lady Trojans won the Circle City Conference Meet! Lily Cridge was meet runner-up; Mary Bea Sowinski, Emily Loiselle, Alex Gantz, and Mayan Stickel earned all-conference honors by way of their top 10 finishes.

The Lady Trojans won their division in the Noblesville Hokum Karem! The team of Mary Bea Sowinksi and Lily Cridge placed first, followed respectively by the pairs of Alex Gantz and Emily Loiselle (4th), Fiona Hostettler and Caroline Bell (6th), Mayan and Miranda Stickel (8th), and Mara Foley and Maisie McMahon (14th).

The Lady Trojans won Bishop Chatard Invitational at Graham Martin Park in dominating fashion. Lily Cridge was the individual meet champion and Emily Loiselle was the meet runner-up. Other Trojans finshing in the top 10 were Mayan Stickel (3rd), Caroline Bell (4th), Miranda Stickel (6th), and Fiona Hostettler (9th).

The Lady Trojans finished runner-up by 1 point in the All-Catholic Meet hosted by Guerin High School. Lily Cridge set a new school record of 18:16 with her 3rd place finish. Also finishing in the top 20 were Emily Loiselle (9th), Mary Bea Sowinski (10th), Alex Gantz (14th), and Mayan Stickel (18th)

The Lady Trojans were meet champions at the Golden Spike Invitational hosted by Decatur Central. Lily Cridge was the individual meet champion and Emily Loiselle was the meet runner-up. Also placing in the top 10 overall were Mary Bea Sowinkski (3rd) and Alex Gantz (7th).

The Lady Trojans placed a close 3rd (2nd Indiana team) in very muddy conditions at the Culver Academies Invitational. The Trojans were led by top 20 finishes from Lily Cridge (2nd), Emily Loiselle (4th), and Mary Bea Sowinski (19th).

The Lady Trojans won the city championship at Graham Martin Par, and Lily Cridge finished as the meet champion! Rounding out the All-City team for the Trojans respectively were Emily Loiselle (3rd), Mary Bea Sowinski (9th), and Alex Gantz (10th).

The Lady Trojans won the sectional championship! Lily Cridge was the meet runner-up and Emily Loiselle (6th), Mary Bea Sowinksi (12th), Alex Gantz (13th) also made the All-Sectional team. Mayan Stickel, Caroline Bell, and Miranda Stickel also helped to seal the team’s victory over a loaded field at Brebeuf High School.

In an extremely competitive regional meet, the Lady Trojans advanced to semi-state competition by placing 4th! Earning All-Regionals honors were freshman Lily Cridge (17:56, 3rd place) and Emily Loiselle (18:12, 5th). Both ladies broke the school record! Critical points were also scored by sophomores Mary Bea Sowinski, Alex Gantz, and Mayan Stickel.

The Lady Trojans are headed to the state finals!! The team placed 4th in a very rainy and very competitive semi-state competition in Shelbyville. Lily Cridge (2nd) and Emily Loiselle (15th) earned all semi-state honors. Additionally, Mary Bea Sowinski, Alex Gantz, Mayan Stickel, Caroline Bell, and Miranda Stickel also had great races as they braved the conditions and earned their spot in the state finals.

The Lady Trojans wrapped their historic season by placing 11th at the state finals in Terre Haute. Freshman Lily Cridge earned all-state honors by placing 8th, the highest place for an individual in BCHS history. Lily’s teammates Emily Loiselle, Mary Bea Sowinski, Alex Gantz, Mayan Stickel, Caroline Bell, and Miranda Stickel all had great races as well and contributed the team’s impressive success this season.
