State Football: Tailgate at Bulllseye Event Center – Nov. 26

The Trojan Horse is happy to announce the details for the Class 3A State Championship Game pre-game BCHS tailgate! Bullseye Event Center is offering a great deal for pregame on Saturday Nov. 26, 2022.

  • ‘Tailgate’ runs from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Cost is $25 (18 and older); $10 (17 and under); Free (3 & under)
  • Price includes: Hot Dog Station with slaw, Burger Station w/ BBQ Beans and Fries, Mac and Cheese, and Donuts!
  • All you can eat food, water, soda included as well as beer and wine (21 & older) with entry fee Mixed drinks will be available as cash bar.
  • Bullseye Event Center is located at 723 S Capitol Avenue.

2022 Football heads to State: Ticket & Festivities

Congratulations to the BCHS football team, as they defeated #1-ranked West Lafayette, 21-3, in the Semi-State game and are heading to the 3A State Championship game.

They will meet Lawrenceburg in the State Championship game on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 3:00 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Pre-Game Tailgate at Bullseye Event Center

Join other Trojan fans before the game for a tailgate at the Center, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Order tickets online.

Post Game Celebration

BCHS will host a post-game celebration, regardless of the outcome, on campus on Saturday evening. It will be held in the stadium, unless inclement weather forces us inside. Anticipated start is 90 minutes after the game ends.

Regional Results The BCHS Trojan football team defeated Yorktown, 42-14, to capture the Regional title on Nov. 11, 2022.

Sectional Results BCHS advanced to the Regionals with a 47-19 win over Northwestern (Kokomo), a 41-14 win over Hamilton Heights and the sectional championship win over Guerin Catholic, 49-13.

Boys Lacrosse Youth Clinic: Nov. 19

November 10, 2022

This clinic is open to all 7th and 8th grade boys attending North Deanery grade schools. It will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at BCHS. It’s FREE

Led by Bishop Chatard coaching staff and collegiate coaches, the one day clinic will focus on fundamentals, shaking off the rust from fall, and getting ready for a great spring season!

Don’t miss this opportunity for both new and experienced players to learn from great coaches, hone their skills, and make friends in a fun and competitive environment.

Boys Basketball Tryouts: Nov. 7

November 3, 2022

Any 9-12th grade student interested in playing boys basketball this year, tryouts are Monday, November 7, 2022! Tryouts for 10-12th graders will be from 4-6:00 p.m. in main gym. Freshman tryout will be from 6-8:00 p.m.!

In order to tryout all potential players must have a physical on file in the athletic office and final forms completed!

2022 Cross Country at State – Lily Cridge is Champion!

Congratulations! Lily Cridge is the 2022 State Cross Country champion, the second year in a row. She finished in 17:14.6, surpassing her time of 17:32.7 last year. Freshman Julia Score placed 10th in State! Max Bourgeois finishing 77th in the boys race!

Semi-State Results

The girls cross country team, though short-handed, placed a very respectable 9th in the extremely competitive Shelbyville semi-state meet.

Lily Cridge and Julia Score qualified for the State XC Meet! Lily won the semi-state race in a course record time (16:58) and Julia finished a strong 5th!

The boys team placed 7th at the ultra-competitive Shelbyville semi-state meet, 1 place out of advancing to the state finals.

Max Bourgeois placed 25th overall to qualify for the state meet as in individual!

Regional Results

The boys cross country team placed 5th in regionals and qualified for the 2022 Semi State meet! JD Haines & Max Bourgeois earned All Regional honors! Also, all 7 runners ran PRs at the meet.

The girls cross country team placed 4th at the Noblesville Regional to qualify for Semi State! Lily Cridge (1st) and Julia Score (5th) earned All Regional honors! Also, Lily broke the regional and course record, and 5 out of 7 girls had PR’s!

Sectional Results

Boys Cross Country wins Sectional!

The boys cross country team won the 2022 Sectional at Brebeuf! The team was led with top 20 finishes from JD Haines (3rd), Ian Kolbus (5th), and Davis Falcon (6th), and Max Bourgeois (11th)! Aaron Loiselle, Eli Hummel, and Jack Dixon also had strong races for the Trojans to help propel the team to victory!

Girls Cross Country places second in Sectional

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team as they placed 2nd in Sectionals at Brebeuf and advanced to the Noblesville Regionals on Oct. 15.

Lily Cridge was the sectional champion and broke her own course record with a time of 16:46! Julia Score (4th) and Ceci Jackson (15th) also made the All-Sectional team! Caroline Clapacs, Alex Teed, Maggie Rushenberg, and Caroline Bell also had great races for the Trojans and helped the team advance to the next round!

Show your Trojan Pride all season long with a YARD SIGN! Orders are now being taken for yard signs for 2022/23 BCHS winter sport athletes: $25 (one-sided) or $35 (2-sided, both sides the same). This is an optional sign for personal yards.
