Accomplishments
- Team places 10th in IHSAA Regionals
- Maggie Schaffer: Wins Regionals and advances to State Finals
- Claire Williams: All City, Academic All State
- Maggie Schaffer: All Conference, City Medalist, State Finalist, All-State Team
- Ali Beam: City Coach of the Year
Will Kellison was recently named the 2018 Male City Athlete of the Year by the Marion County Athletic Association! Will was a three-year starter on the Bishop Chatard football team, playing defensive end and tight end, while the Trojans earned two sectional titles and a state championship. He was named All-City and earned all-state honors for two years as well as being named to the IndyStar Super Team as a senior. He was a significant player on the basketball team as a sophomore, though injuries kept him from playing as a junior and senior.
Will is an honor roll student who will play football at Miami of Ohio next year. Congratulations Will!
Bishop Chatard’s varsity football program has an impressive legacy that includes 13 Indiana State Championships and many alumni who have had successful careers at the college level and beyond. What Trojan football has not experienced is a home football game. That is about to change.
